When the flood waters rise......

.....we play WAR!!!!!
....we play in Carson's gym
.....we snuggle with Carson and make him make funny faces.

......we talk and talk and talk on the phone to make sure everyone else is okay

.....we read new books (or at least look at the pictures).

.....we work on thousand year old septic problems (this is always fun)
......we swing and swing and think everything is right in the world.
......we dress all kinds of sexy

.....we act silly with Aunt Jo Jo
.....we even let a dog in the house (this is HUGE)

....at the end of the day, we toast to just surviving the flood.
The Flood of 2010 has reeked havoc on my family. Mom and Dad's house almost flooded and had some serious damage in the yard. My aunt's house had about 6" of water in the basement. Goggie and Grandaddy had to be "rescued" by boat on Sunday and lost everything that was in their basement and garage...including the car. Yet we are all alive, dry and safe. Thank you Lord for Your provision and protection. We pray for all of those that are dealing with much worse than what we have endured.
